Outshine Fruit Bars

August 13, 2013

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Outshine Fruit Bars, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #SnackBrighter http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

We are always on the hunt for refreshing summer snack options for me and the little guy. We mainly reach in the fridge for fresh fruit, or in the freezer for a popsicle. How perfect is it that Outshine Fruit Bars combined the two for a delicious, low calorie treat!?

I used to eat these like candy when I was pregnant with my now four year old. The strawberry ones were a staple in our freezer, and it didn’t hurt that they are only 70 calories! Whenever I was feeling a little out of sorts or in the need for a little pick me up treat, I’d snag one and munch away! It looks like the craving transferred over to Dax because he will do anything for a coconut flavored bar!

They’ve been making these fruit bars for over 18 years using simple ingredients like peaches, raspberries, coconut, and so many other types of fruit. Which means these little gems are loaded with real fruit pieces.

I love/hate that they have seasonal flavors available! They sound amazing, but are only around for a limited time! You better believe the blood orange and grapefruit will make their way to my freezer when they hit the shelves!
