Best of 2013! (From my favorite foodies)December 31, 2013
Yesterday I shared MY top 13 in 2013. Or rather, your favorites from the year. Today I’m sharing something a little different. I spent the week looking through a few of my favorite foodie sites and put together a list of 13 amazing recipes from OTHER bloggers! These girls are amazing and unbelievably talented. If you aren’t reading them, you should be! Check out the best of from my favorite foodies!
Who doesn’t love butter? This Herb & Orange Compound Butter @ Project Domestication was right up my alley, and turned out to be the perfect addition to our Holiday meal. It’s a keeper and a great way to kick off the list!
I love love love anything that is from this girl. You just can’t go wrong making any of her recipes. And her photos are just gorgeous. It was hard for me to narrow it down, but this Greek Style Veggie Pizza @ Cafe Johnsonia won me over in the end!
Ok, I know this technically isn’t a recipe… but how awesome is it that you can bottle your own cocktails?!? This is going to come in way handy for me in 2014! See the tutorial for How to Bottle Your Own Cocktails @ Vintage Mixer!
I love breakfast, so it only made sense that Baked Orange French toast @ FoodieCrush would be next on the list.
Speaking of breakfast, how about some Lemon Ricotta Crepes @ Barbara Bakes?
Or a Fried Egg Sandwich with Tomato & Avocado @ 365 Days of Slow Cooking? Anything that includes eggs and avocado’s makes me (and my family) super happy!
ANNNNND… maybe one more breakfast treat? Vanilla French Toast @ Phemomenon sounds divine!
Now back to my Greek obsession. Tomato and basil were made for each other. That’s why this Tomato Basil Bake @ Taste & Tell has to be high on the “must make” list. And isn’t that photo stunning?
Pasta salads are a quick and easy meal that generally all have the same ingredients. This Greek Inspired Pasta Salad @ La Fuji Mama has a fun twist that I can’t wait to try out!
If you’ve been to New York you’ve probably tried this. Make some for yourself using the Frozen Hot Chocolate @ I’m Topsy Turvy recipe!
I don’t think I need to introduce this one much. Loaded Baked Potato Dip @ Bless This Mess is just… well… AMAZING. We’ve made it a few times for parties and it’s always a hit!
How about some Stuffed Pepper Soup @ Kalyn’s Kitchen to warm you up on these cold winter nights?
And last, but not least, this Teriyaki Chicken Bowl @ Six Sisters Stuff! It’s freezer friendly which means it gets five stars from this girl!
And that’s it for my countdowns! You should take a second and visit each of these wonderful blogs and see what they have on their countdown! I’m sure you are going to find a handful of new foodies to add to your reading list! You can find them all here:
