Slow cooker meals have slowly become my favorite kind, especially with the use of Campbell’s Sauces. These Hawaiian Pork Bowls are perfect for every day meals or game day favorites ESPECIALLY since they have minimal ingredients and short prep time! For my last Campbell’s post I decided to use the Hawaiian Pork but all six of their flavors are winning the comfort food theme I’ve got going on. Make sure you try each this winter; Tavern Style Pot Roast, Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork, Beef Stew, Southern BBQ, & Sweet Korean BBQ.
To help get a little inspiration for this recipe I visited CampbellSauces.com. They had so many great ideas including this Hawaiian style served with rice! They have a handy little recipe generator that can help direct you in your food creating adventure. I used their idea for a pork shoulder but included a few additions that helped kick these bowls up a notch.
While I chose to serve these in a bowl version you could plate the ingredients separately just as easy. My dinner audience consisted of a picky six year old who goes crazy for all-in-one meals which is not only fun for him but less cleanup for me later!
Campbell’s Sauces are a great way to serve up a great Every Day meal that is impressively delicious, especially conferring it took as little as five minutes to plan. You can’t go wrong with an easy meal that tastes great and is loved by the whole family!
- 3 lb pork shoulder
- Campbell's Sauces Hawaiian Pork flavor
- 2-3 cups cooked rice
- diced red peppers
- pineapple chunks
- Place your pork shoulder in your slow cooker. Cover with Campbell's sauce and cook on low for 7 hours. Make sure you stir it occasionally to avoid burning.
- When you are ready to eat place rice in the bottom of your bowl. Top with your peppers, pineapple, and pork. Top with leftover sauce.
