We’ve been stuck indoors lately due to some freezing temperatures and a nasty inversion. It’s being said that Salt Lake has the worst air quality in the country. I definitely don’t want my little guy exposed to all of that yuck, so we have been coming up with some creative indoor activities to help pass the time.
We built a fort the size of our living room, created an indoor obstacle course, lots of art projects, and of course some baking!
I decided to get a head start on my little guys Valentine treats. I found an amazing heart shaped mold in the target $1 bins, and figured what better treat than chocolate?
All you need is a silicone mold, chocolate, and sprinkles. Melt your chocolate according to the package, fill your mold, and sprinkle away!
If you’d like to go for the layered look, simply fill your mold halfway with one type of chocolate and allow it to set. Repeat with your second chocolate filling your mold to the brim.
Easy peasy.
Hopefully this will give you a little inspiration.
If you have any great indoor activities that we could try out let me know!

These look so good that I’d probably eat them all before I had a chance to gift wrap and deliver them.
