Camping Quick Pork Chops

This is another of my in-law’s recipe’s! I couldn’t believe they were going as far as making camping quick PORK CHOPS for over 10 people…. while we were camping!

And yet… I guess it doesn’t surprise me too much. My in-law’s always make fantastic meals. And when I say always… I mean always…

My mother in-law is one of those cooks that just throws in whatever she thinks will taste good, without a recipe, and make a meal that could seriously be served at a nice restaurant… One day, I hope to be able to do that… but for now… I’ll stick to the written recipe’s…

Quick Pork Chops

Pork Chops
Marinade of choice
Ziploc Bag
Grill/over the fire pan

PREP WORK: Before you leave your house, toss the chops in a giant ziploc with some of the marinade. Now… you have three options here… you can just let it rest in the cooler until you are ready, or toss it in the freezer overnight, then let it thaw until you are ready. I think it’s a personal preference, so I’ll let you decide which one works best for you.

GET COOKING: Preheat your grill {or cooking method of choice}. Slap those babies down, and grill them up. I’d say, depending on the thickness of your meat, probably 5 minutes on each side. Give or take.

They are super moist and amazing. You won’t even remember you are camping as you start digging in to this wonderful piece of meat. If you are feeling adventurous, you could even make a dipping sauce of sorts. I’m sure either way they will be amazing!
