This Turkey Bacon Avocado Salad is a fresh way to jazz up your lunch or dinner.
Let’s talk about the TBA at Zupas. You know the one, right? It is the most delicious panini packed with turkey bacon and avocado goodness begging to be devoured by any hungry foodie. That little sandwich is my go-to whenever I’m in the restaurant, along with a bowl of Wisconsin cauliflower, and the inspiration for today’s recipe!
All you need to do is package this up for a quick grab-and-go lunch or serve it for a family favorite dinner. Even my picky six year old gobbled up his serving and eagerly asked for more. Next time I think we might even add some sunflower seeds or diced cucumber. That’s the beauty of a salad, right? So many easy swaps and changes to make it fit your tastes.
- 1 small head romaine, chopped
- 1/4-1/2 cup turkey slices, chopped
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 2-4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup avocado, smashed
- Divide the romaine, turkey, tomatoes, bacon, and avocado slices into two bowls.
- In a small bowl whisk together the ranch and 1/4 cup smashed avocado. Serve with the salad.
