Ingredients

  • cup flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 overripe bananas

Instructions

  • Heat a waffle iron.
  • Whisk together your flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar (if using).
  • In a medium measuring cup combine the milk, egg, and bananas. Whisk until the bananas are mashed. Fold into your dry ingredients.
  • Pour 1/4 cup batter onto your prepared iron. Cook until golden brown and enjoy.
