Mint Limeade

Ingredients

  • 1ΒΌ cup sugar divided
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 lemons
  • 3 limes
  • 1/3 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 7 cups cold water

Instructions

  • Combine 1 cup of the sugar with the 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Cook until the sugar is dissolved and remove from the heat.
  • Squeeze the lemons and limes over a strainer until you get one cup of juice. In a tall pitcher add the remaining sugar with the mint leaves. Slightly mash to infuse the flavor. Add the juice and mix until the sugar dissolves. Stir in your simple syrup and the remaining 8 cups of water. Stir and enjoy.
