Quick Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple juice preferably fresh
  • 2 cinnamon sticks or 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 whole cloves
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 orange sliced
  • sweetened whipped cream*

Instructions

  • Mix the apple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, and oranges.
  • Bring to a boil. Lower the temperature and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain and serve plain or topped with whipped cream.
