Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 cups cooked green beans
  • 1⅓ cup French fried onions

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix the soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, beans, and 2/3 cups of onions in a casserole bowl.
  • 3. Bake for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbly.
  • 4. Sprinkle with the remaining onions and bake an additional five minutes or until the onions are golden.

Notes

No crispy onions? Try plain potato chips or crushed Ritz crackers.
Want to use fresh green beans? Substitute 1-1/2 lbs fresh beans for the canned. Be sure to boil for 5 to 8 minutes or until slightly softened.
