Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 boneless pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 box pork stuffing unprepared
  • 1 medium granny smith apple sliced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Heat a large cast iron or oven proof skillet over medium heat with the oil.
  • Season your pork chops with salt and pepper on each side and add to the hot oil along with the onions. Cook until just browned on each side (about 2 minutes per side).
  • Remove the pork chops and onion and set aside.
  • Stir the water and butter together in your pan and bring to a boil. Add your packaged stuffing and onions and stir to combine. Top with the pork chops.
  • Toss the apples with the brown sugar and sprinkle over the top of your dish. Bake 20-30 minutes or until your pork chops are cooked completely.
