Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 oz Salted Caramel Kahlua OR
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce with a pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Stir together the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and water in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and stir in the milk, Kahlua or Caramel. Heat until just warm enough to enjoy. Remove from the heat and stir in your vanilla extract.
  • Divide between 4 cups and serve with marshmallows or whipped cream if desired.
