Mint Limeade Recipe

Ingredients

  • cup granulated sugar divided
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 8 cups cold water divided

Instructions

  • 1. Combine one cup of sugar with the one cup of water in a small saucepan.2. Cook until the sugar is dissolved and remove from the heat.3. Squeeze the lemons and limes over a strainer until you get one cup of juice.4. In a tall pitcher add the remaining sugar with the mint leaves. Slightly mash to infuse the flavor.5. Add the lemon/lime juice and mix until the sugar dissolves.6. Stir in your simple syrup and the remaining 7 cups of water. Stir and enjoy.
