2. Combine the 4-1/2 cups of the baking mix, soda, and sour cream in a large mixing bowl. Use a whisk or spatula to fully combine. The dough should be rather sticky.
3. Sprinkle more baking mix onto a work surface and turn out the dough. Sprinkle the top with more baking mix and turn once, making sure to coat the outside to prevent sticking.
4. Pat with your hands until 1 inch thick. Cut into circles or squares.
5. Melt the butter and pour into a 9×13 pan. Place the biscuits on top of the melted butter.
6. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
Notes
This dough is super sticky. Be patient and sprinkle additional baking mix on top if needed.
If you do not have a biscuit cutter you can use a large round glass.
These will stay good for up to five days if stored in an airtight container or bag.
