Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries- We like frozen in syrup berries that are partially thawed
  • 1 cup ice optional

Instructions

  • Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, vanilla, strawberries, and ice (if using) to a blender.
  • Blend 30 to 60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  • Divide the mixture between two glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream if desired and enjoy.

Notes

  • Want to add ice but don’t want to take away the creamy texture? Try freezing milk in your ice cube trays.
  • For a vegan version simply substitute vegan coconut ice cream, coconut milk and homemade coconut whipped cream. I actually suggest trying this even if you are NOT vegan. It is dreamy!
  • Want an extra punch of strawberry? The secret is using ripe flavorful berries. You can also add strawberry syrup.
  • Use fresh berries OR frozen in syrup
