Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep a 9×9 inch pan by lightly misting with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine the granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss the sliced apples in the mixture until coated.
Pour into the prepared pan, spreading into an even layer. You will have extra flour. That’s ok. Let it all fall into the dish.
In a separate bowl stir together the oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix the butter into the dry ingredients and stir until a crumble texture is achieved.
Sprinkle evenly over your apple crisp.
Bake 45 minutes.
Serve drizzled with caramel sauce and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
