Easy Chicken Noodle Soup, just the way grandma used to make it! Loaded with flavor and filled with chunky bites of chicken, noodles, and vegetables. This is easily the best chicken soup recipe.

Add the garlic and cook one minute longer.
Stir in the chicken, chicken broth, parsley, thyme, and bay leaves.
Bring to a simmer. Cook 20 minutes, stirring in the noodles halfway through.
Notes
Can this be made in a slow cooker?Yes. Add the ingredients into a slow cooker, without the noodles. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Add the noodles 30 minutes before serving. Can you make homemade chicken noodle soup in advance? This soup can be made up to 4 days in advance. I do suggest cooking the noodles to al dente (slightly underdone) to help keep them from becoming soggy when reheating. Keep stored in an airtight container inside of the refrigerator.
