Ingredients

  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet Campbell’s Tavern Style Pot Roast Sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Mist the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray, I really love avocado oil because it’s low in flavor and a smidge more healthy.
  • Place the chuck roast in the bottom of the pan and cover with one entire container of Campbell’s Tavern Style Pot Roast sauce.
  • Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or until the roast begins to fall apart.
  • Remove the roast to a serving dish. Strain the remaining juices into a medium sized pot and whisk with water.
  • In a small bowl, stir 1 tablespoon water with 1 tablespoon cornstarch until dissolved.
  • Whisk into the pan with the drippings. Heat to a boil, stirring consistently, and cook until slightly thickened. Serve over potatoes and meat.
