Ingredients

  • 1 bottle chilled champagne or sparkling wine
  • 3-4 cups chilled orange juice

Instructions

  • How to make mimosas:Fill a tall glass half full with orange juice.
  • Fill the remaining way with champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Note: Be sure that both ingredients are chilled. Start with a 50/50 ratio and adjust per your taste.
  • How to make mimosas for a crowd:Mixing mimosas for a large group is super simple. You can set up a bar and allow guests to serve themselves or you can prepare a pitcher just before serving.
  • Fill a pitcher half with orange juice and top with champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Tip: Be sure that the juice and champagne has been chilled. Do not combine the ingredients until you are ready to serve as the carbonation will start to die down the longer the beverage sits.

Notes

  • Use chilled ingredients and serve these cocktails immediately to help keep some of that sparkle from the champagne or sparkling wine.
  • We prefer to pour the juice first, but others swear by pouring the sparkling component in the glass before the juice. Both ways taste good and will work fine.
  • Garnish with your favorite fruit. One of our favorites are sliced oranges or strawberries.
