Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese*
  • 4 round flatbread or pita
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 12 black olives

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil for easy clean up and set aside.
  • Cut the mozzarella into slices. Place on a cutting board and use a ghost shaped cutter, or a sharp knife, to cut the ghost shape into the cheese. Set aside.
  • Add 1 heaping tablespoon of pizza sauce to each flatbread and spread to cover the surface.
  • Carefully top with 2 to 3 of the ghost cheese pieces, using chopped olives for the eyes and mouth of each ghost.
  • Add olive spiders if desired.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the pizza is heated through.

Notes

*I like fresh mozzarella. However, you can find slices of mozzarella cheese next to the cheddar that work well for these ghosts.
