Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1 (15.25oz) box cake mix dry
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1-2 cups chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 pan, or quarter sheet pan, with parchment paper for easy clean up and set aside.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, cake mix, eggs, and chocolate chips until fully combined, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Spread the cookie dough into the prepared pan into an even layer. I use a silicone spatula to help get a smooth layer.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the bars are lightly browned or cooked in the center.
