Ingredients

  • 4 small flour tortillas street taco or fajita size
  • 8 –10 chicken tenders frozen or homemade
  • 1 to 1½ cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese

Sauce (choose one)

  • Ranch dressing
  • Honey mustard
  • BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare chicken tenders according to package directions or your preferred homemade method until crispy and cooked through. Slice into smaller strips if needed.
  • Microwave for 10–15 seconds or heat in a skillet until soft and pliable.
  • Add shredded lettuce down the center of each tortilla. Top with chicken, sprinkle with cheese, and drizzle with your chosen sauce.
  • Fold the bottom up, then roll tightly like a burrito.
  • Optional: Place seam-side down in a skillet and toast for 1–2 minutes for a slightly crispy, fast-food-style finish.

Notes

  • Street taco tortillas give the most authentic size, but fajita size works great if that’s what you can find.
  • Don’t overfill or the wraps will be harder to roll and may fall apart.
  • For best texture, let the chicken rest 1–2 minutes before assembling so it stays crispy.
  • These are best served fresh, but you can prep all ingredients ahead and assemble when ready to eat.
  • To reheat chicken, use an air fryer or oven to keep it crispy.
