In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded white cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
Add the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, green onions, and garlic powder to the cheese mixture. Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Place a large piece of plastic wrap inside a bowl, then transfer the cheese mixture into the center of the wrap. Use the plastic wrap to help shape the mixture into a ball, pressing gently to form a smooth, round shape.
Wrap the cheese ball tightly in the plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to blend.
Just before serving, combine the remaining cranberries, pecans, and green onions on a wide plate or in a shallow bowl.
Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and gently roll it in the cranberry-pecan mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the toppings stick and fully coat the cheese ball.
Transfer the finished cheese ball to a serving platter, serve with crackers, and enjoy!
