These easy burger bowls are everything you love about a classic cheeseburger—no bun required. Loaded with seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, fresh toppings, and your favorite sauce, they’re perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

1 pound ground beef 1 tablespoon burger seasoning or a mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika 4 cups chopped lettuce Romaine or iceberg work best 6 slices cooked bacon crumbled 1 cup diced tomato 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 2 cups cooked fries or diced potatoes air fried or baked ½ cup sliced pickles ½ cup sliced onion pickled or raw—your choice ¼ to ½ cup burger sauce like Thousand Island or fry sauce, to taste
Warm a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart using a spatula or spoon.
Cook the beef until fully browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure it cooks evenly.
Season the beef with your favorite burger seasoning. Stir to coat the meat well.
Drain the grease by carefully tilting the pan and spooning out the excess fat, or using a colander lined with paper towels.
Build your bowls by starting with a base of lettuce in each bowl.
Add toppings like the seasoned ground beef, shredded cheese, diced tomato, crispy bacon, onion (pickled if you like), pickles, and fries or potatoes.
Drizzle with sauce such as fry sauce, Thousand Island, or your favorite burger-style dressing.
Serve immediately while the beef is hot and the toppings are fresh.
