Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread or pizza dough ready to bake
  • 1/4 small green pepper sliced
  • 1/4 small onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese *
  • 4 oz steak cooked medium and sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil for easy cleanup and set aside.
  • Optional:  If you want, you can cook your veggies (like onions and bell peppers) in a pan until they are soft. Set them aside for now.
  • Put the flatbread on the foil-lined cookie sheet with the top side facing down. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the flatbread, but leave a 1/2 inch space around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the sauce. If you want, add some white American cheddar cheese for extra flavor.
  • Place thin slices of steak and the cooked veggies on top of the cheese.
  •  Put the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the flatbread is hot.

Notes

  • Preheat Your Baking Sheet: Place the baking sheet in the oven while it preheats. This helps achieve a crispier flatbread crust.
  • Don’t Overload the Flatbread: Less is more when it comes to toppings. Overloading can make the flatbread soggy and harder to eat.
  • Experiment with Cheese: While mozzarella is a classic choice, blending it with provolone or white American cheddar can add a delightful depth of flavor.
