Ingredients

  • 1 (32oz) bag frozen meatballs
  • 1 (14oz) bottle teriyaki sauce
  • 1 (20oz) can pineapple drained
  • 1 medium green bell pepper chopped into large pieces
  • 1 small onion chopped into large pieces

Instructions

  • Place the frozen meatballs, teriyaki sauce, pineapple chunks, diced green bell pepper, and onion into a large, deep skillet. Make sure everything is evenly spread out so it heats evenly.
  • Turn the stove to medium heat and stir the ingredients occasionally to prevent sticking. Once the mixture begins to simmer (small bubbles forming), you know it’s ready for the next step.
  • Lower the temperature and cover the skillet with a lid. Let everything cook for 25-30 minutes. Stir every now and then to make sure the sauce coats the meatballs. Check the internal temperature of the meatballs—aim for 165°F for frozen meatballs or 160°F for homemade.
  • Serve: Once the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly, serve them over your favorite rice (like white, brown, or even fried rice) and enjoy your meal!
