Ingredients

  • 6 oz silver tequila
  • 2 oz orange liqueur
  • 12 oz frozen strawberries in syrup OR fresh strawberries with sugar to taste
  • 4 oz limeade concentrate- don't add the water!
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Add the tequila, orange liqueur, and limeade to your blender.
  • Top with fresh or frozen berries.
  • Add 1 to 2 cups of ice.
  • Pulse or blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the power of your blender.
  • Enjoy with fresh fruit garnishes or a sugared glass rim.

Notes

If using fresh berries you may need to add a touch of sugar to help sweeten the drink.
  • We do not thaw our strawberries before adding to our blender. They tend to already be slightly soft and mix in easily.
  • For a thicker margarita add more ice. If you like yours thinner add slightly less. You can also opt to leave the ice out altogether.
  • For a stronger drink, cut the amount of berries in half or add an additional 1-1/2 oz. of tequila and 1/2 oz. of triple sec.
  • This recipe is simple to customize. Swap the berries for whatever fruit you have on hand. We especially love mango or pineapple.
