Ingredients

  • 3 oz tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • cups limeade
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk*
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Add ingredients to a blender. Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, limeade, sugar, and coconut milk with the salt in a high-powered blender.
  • Pulse the mixture for 15–30 seconds, or until everything is well blended and smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about ¼ inch at the top to allow for expansion as they freeze.
  • Place the popsicle sticks into each mold. If your mold doesn’t support sticks upright, let the mixture freeze for about an hour before inserting.
  • Transfer the molds to the freezer and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until fully solid.
  • To release the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull them out.

Notes

  • No coconut milk? No problem. You can leave it out or substitute with vanilla greek yogurt.
  • We like to use a really high quality limeade. Pick one you love the flavor of.
