Easy Mississippi Roast Recipe

3-4 lb chuck roast 1 (1 oz) packet au jus mix 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning 1 jar peppornochini’s with the juice ½ cup unsalted butter
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the roast on all sides, 2–3 minutes per side.
Place the roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with au jus mix and ranch seasoning.
Add half the jar of pepperoncini along with half the juice.
Place the butter on top of the roast.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until fork tender.
Shred the beef and mix with the juices before serving.
