Easy Mississippi Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 (1 oz) packet au jus mix
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 jar peppornochini’s with the juice
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the roast on all sides, 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Place the roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with au jus mix and ranch seasoning.
  • Add half the jar of pepperoncini along with half the juice.
  • Place the butter on top of the roast.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until fork tender.
  • Shred the beef and mix with the juices before serving.
