Ingredients

  • 1 (16oz) can refried beans
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 8oz cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup sour cream divided
  • 2-3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • green onions

Instructions

  • Stir together the refried beans and milk until smooth and slightly thinned. Spread into the bottom of a 9×13 pan OR 2 9 inch pans.
  • In a clean mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Spread evenly over the top of the bean layer.
  • Spread guacamole over the sour cream, creating the third layer, being careful not to press too hard.
  • Spoon the salsa over the top of the guacamole, carefully spread to create the next layer in the dip.
  • Sprinkle an even layer of cheese over the salsa.
  • Spread the olives, optionally with sliced tomatoes, on the edges of the dish.
  • Sprinkle the edges generously with green onion.
  • Add the extra sour cream to a small zip top bag and carefully snip off the corner. Pipe the sour cream into a spider web shape.
  • Slice one whole olive in half for the spider body and use sliced olive pieces to create the spider legs.
  • Serve immediately or cover and chill until ready to serve.
