Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso or 1/4-1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar or brown sugar syrup*
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice optional

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse for 30 to 45 seconds, or until combined.
  • Fill a glass, or cup of choice, with ice. I like to fill mine about 2/3 full.
  • Top the ice with the coffee mixture.
  • Optional, you can add a little whipped cream if you’d like.
  • Add a straw and enjoy!

Notes

Brown Sugar Syrup

  1. PREP: Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup water, and one cinnamon stick in a small pot.
  2. SIMMER: Bring to a simmer and allow it to cook for 5 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has slightly reduced.
  3. COOL: Let the mixture come to room temperature and remove the cinnamon stick. Enjoy with your favorite coffees.
