Place the butter in a large, deep pan or pot. Heat the pan over low heat until the butter is completely melted.
Add the full jar of marshmallow creme to the melted butter. Stir continuously until the marshmallow creme is fully combined with the butter and the mixture is smooth.
Gradually add Rice Krispies cereal to the pan. Fold the cereal into the marshmallow mixture using a spatula. Keep stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture into a 9×9 inch baking pan. Use the back of the spatula to press the mixture down evenly into the pan.
Allow the bars to cool and set for at least 1 hour at room temperature.
