Ingredients

  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 (7oz) marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  • Remove the cream cheese from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 1 hour. This helps it blend smoothly with the other ingredients.
  • Place the softened cream cheese into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or use a hand mixer and mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 1 minute, or until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  • Add the marshmallow creme to the bowl and beat for another minute, or until the mixture is light, fluffy, and fully combined.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and orange zest (if using). Mix just until incorporated. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve, or enjoy immediately with fresh fruit.

Notes

You can also stir in a tablespoon of peanut butter, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, or your favorite jam for a fun variation.
