  • 5 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ baking powder
  • 1 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar (plus 1/4 cup for rolling)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil (I prefer a avocado oil which has a more nuteral flavor)
  • 2 Tablespoons sour cream
  • zest of 1 lemon (optional but yummy)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • frosting of choice (I like cream cheese frosting)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper to prevent sticking.
