How to Make Bunny Shapes from Cinnamon Rolls:
I really love to keep things simple in the kitchen, which means I did not get crazy with this design. It was very basic and took less than five minutes of prep time. Here is how to create your bunny using one and a 1/2 cinnamon rolls:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment or a silicone baking mat and set aside.
- Open the can of cinnamon rolls. Pull the cinnamon rolls out onto a cutting board and set the frosting to the side for later.
- Using a sharp knife, cut two of the cinnamon rolls into 4 pieces, trying to keep the shape like ears with a slightly slanted angle.
- Place 1 full cinnamon roll onto your prepared baking tray.
- Using a little water, attach two ears to the top of the roll in a bunny position.
- Continue with the remaining rolls.
- Bake 13 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool, frost, and enjoy!
Tips for Bunny Shaped Cinnamon Rolls from a Can
We kept things fairly simple but have big plans for the next time we make these. Here are some thoughts:
- You can gently mold the ears using your fingers into your desired shape. We didn’t mind the rugged look, but it would be simple to create a more rounded appearance.
- Using water to connect the ears isn’t necessary, but does help secure them a little better to the bunny head base.
- Use raisins, chocolate chips, sprinkles, or colored frosting to decorate your bunnies.
