This 2 ingredient mint fudge comes together in under five minutes and is great for family, friends, or neighbors this holiday season!
I’m sure by now you all have seen my two ingredient fudge recipe from Friday. I knew that the recipe was great, but was so surprised how quickly it took over the web! Apparently you all really like easy recipes. Especially when they come together quickly and taste fantastic! I decided to run with it and created just a few more flavors to give you some variety.
This particular recipe calls for Andes Baking Chips . That’s right, the amazing mint candies we all get excited for after a dinner at Olive Garden come in CHIPS! These are my most favorite things to use when holiday baking. Toss a few in chocolate cookies, brownies, or fudge for a great thin mint type flavor. Thank you mint chocolate gods for sending me these little bits of goodness!
But let’s get back to business. You’ll follow the same instructions as the base fudge recipe which are:
-Melt the chips.
– Stir in frosting.
Seriously, you will never believe how incredibly easy this recipe is until you try it. The mint and chocolate combination is well balanced. I used a creamy milk chocolate frosting and was a little worried that the mint might overpower, but it turned out beautifully. It’s very possible I have a few more flavors up my sleeves so make sure you come back later next week!!
- 12 oz Andes mint chips
- 16 oz chocolate frosting
- Line an 8x8 square pan with wax paper.
- Place the mint chips in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave. It normally takes me one minute, but make sure you stop and stir it every 15 seconds or so.
- Fold in the chocolate frosting. Pour into your prepared dish and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
