I wasn’t planning on posting today. I have hit a bit of a creative slump and had decided to take the day off. I was making boring ol’ French toast when I had sort of a brilliant idea. I’m always adding extracts, sugar, and cinnamon… Why not skip all of that and just substitute with coffee creamer? They have a million flavors out there so the options are limitless. And bonus… you don’t need many ingredients! That, ladies and gentlemen, is how the 3 ingredient Samoa French Toast was born.
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Girl Scout Caramel & Coconut Coffee Creamer
- 4-6 slices of bread
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread with melted butter.
- Whisk together your eggs and creamer. Dip each slice of bread in your egg mixture, front and back, and place on your warmed pan. Cook on each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or syrup.
