2 Ingredient Fudge. This five minute dessert recipe is the perfect gift to give. Melted chocolate and canned frosting mixes together to give you the perfect fudge texture.
Fudge and I have a long history of fails.
I cannot tell you why. For some reason it is one recipe I always struggle with.
Luckily I found this two ingredient version that changed my life. A few tweaks later and I have got a mile long list of different fudge flavors.
During the busy holiday season- easy is what I look for. I do not want to spend hours in the kitchen but I also want to make sure I have a dish that really shines. That is this recipe.
2 Ingredient Fudge
All you really need are some chocolate chips and one can of frosting.
I kid you not.
That is the end of the list.
Melt that chocolate, fold in the frosting, and let that fudge goodness set in the fridge.
To keep things from sticking, and ensure easy removal, I use the new coconut oil spray.
Packaging is really where things get fun. I used a few cheap cookie cutters to cut shapes, placed some candy pieces on top, and wrapped these up in decorative bags. This is a great activity to do with the kids. My five year old loved that I let him decorate his own “cookie.”
2 ingredient fudge
- 12 oz chocolate chips semi sweet or milk is fine
- 16 oz chocolate frosting
Line an 8x8 square pan with wax paper.
Place the chocolate chips in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave. It normally takes me one minute, but make sure you stop and stir it every 15 seconds or so.
Fold in the chocolate frosting. Pour into your prepared dish and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
