This Christmas Cocoa is the perfect way to warm your belly this holiday season! A classic Hot Chocolate Recipe is sprinkled with holiday spices for a unique and tasty version of the classic.

I am not a chocolate fan.
That being said, I have a nine year old that is the polar opposite.
He. Loves. Chocolate.
If he had to categorize his love for things it would go: #1 Chocolate – #2 Legos – #3 mom.
I am determined to make my way to the number two spot this year. I have decided the best way to his heart is through his stomach! Enter:
Christmas Cocoa
I wanted to have a rich chocolate flavor but also the added bonus of some Christmas spices. This recipe is all of those things.

It has got a rich chocolaty flavor that is complimented by a small dash of salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Like many of my recipes, it is extremely easy to make and whips up in under 10 minutes (five if you have made it before).
Each ingredient should already be a staple in your pantry. For a special treat try making a batch to-go and heading out on a little Christmas Light drive. Warming your belly while you enjoy the festive sights is a wonderful tradition that we look forward to every single year.
